Since its founding, ONYX Lone Star has believed that service extends beyond chapter meetings. Following the chapter's ratification in 2017, members worked to increase visibility by building partnerships, supporting fundraising efforts, and participating in outreach projects that reflected the organization's commitment to education, representation, and community.

Guided by the mission to Educate • Explore • Empower, these efforts have helped create welcoming spaces where BIPOC members of the LGBTQ+ community can connect, grow, and thrive.
