ONYX LONE STAR EDUCATION INITIATIVE

REACH is the ONYX Lone Star education initiative dedicated to providing relevant, accessible, and culturally informed education in Leather, BDSM, kink, sexual health, community, and the histories that connect them.

Through classes, demonstrations, conversation, panels, mentorship, and shared experiences, REACH creates opportunities to learn, ask questions, develop practical skills, and explore Leather and kink within and environment grounded in knowledge, responsibility, consent, and community.

Roots examines the people, traditions, practices protocols, communities, and histories that have shaped Leather, BDSM, and kink.

ROOTS & HERITAGE ARE INTENTIONALLY CONNECTED, BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.

Roots examine where we came from. Heritage determines what we carry forward. Our roots help us understand the communities we inherited. Our heritage challenges us to preserve their stories while continuing to build something worthy of being inherited by those who come after us.

WHERE IT HAPPENS

Programming takes place during ONYX Lone Star gatherings and regional weekends.
Within our local hubs, online, or in partnership with educators and organizations throughout our communities.
Programs range from introductory education for those new to Leathe and kink to advanced instruction for experienced practitioners
Education is for everyone who wants to learn, grow, and contribute to a stranger, more informed community.
