T.E.A.C.H. – Leather 101 & Consent with Apocalypse ONYX

Join ONYX Lone Star for another installment of our T.E.A.C.H. (Training, Education, Awareness, Community, and Hands-on Learning) series, featuring Apocalypse ONYX as he explores two foundations of our community: Leather culture and consent.

This introductory session will explore Leather as more than clothing or gear, introducing participants to the traditions, language, etiquette, relationships, and community values that have helped shape Leather culture. From there, we’ll examine consent as an essential part of navigating Leather, Kink, Fetish, and BDSM spaces responsibly.

We’ll discuss communication, negotiation, boundaries, assumptions, and the importance of understanding that interest does not equal consent. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss how these principles apply in real-world Leather spaces.
